I reluctantly purchased this product from an emergency vet hospital because the home remedy I was considering included hydrogen peroxide and I didn't think my german shepherds coat would hold up too well to it. After one application of skunk-off to my dogs head and snoot, the smell was gone. I was thoroughly surprised at how effective this product is at removing the odor! I would definitely purchase this product again.

There are other skunk odor removal products out there that are cheaper, but require multiple applications. Then there are the home remedies that are very messy and don't work very well. I have tried them all and Skunk-off shampoo and Skunk-off spray are the only products that really work. I live in a high skunk population area in California, and I keep a supply of these 2 products on hand all the time.

This is the only product that have ever used that really really works on skunk spray, The first time I used it was on a neighbors dog that had just been sprayed I didn't think it would work but the little old lady told me it would I used the skunk off and I was so suprised that the dog did not smell like skunk any more. and then I realized that the skunk smell was not on me . so when ever any body calls me and ask what thay can do for their pet I tel them skunk off , I make a deal with with you If you are not happy with skunk-off I will keep your dog in my houes untill the smell is gone!! but if you are happy with skunk-off you have to give all of my dogs a bath!!! and I have 8 dogs one of them is a bull-mastiff!!!! It has been 2 years and my dogs get into skunks about twice a year my friends are getting used to giving my dogs their baths !!!!!!! I love it ( A #1 product! )
