MY GERMAN SHEPHARD HAS BEEN ON THIS PRODUCT FOR 3 YEARS. HE HAD SURGERY ON HIS ELBOWS AT 9 MONTHS. HE HASN'T HAD A PROBLEM SINCE ON THE PHYCOX, THE VET HAD RECOMMENDED THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE OF THE INFLAMATION CONTROL IT HAD.
I prefer the granules but the price of the chews was hard to resist and I can get the granules only through the vet. My dogs would be in alot worse shape with their arthritis if it weren't for this product. Of coarse I recently found out that it is a COX-2 inhibitor meaning it is an nsaid, so I am not sure of my of my true feelings. Will have to do some more research. I am very pleased with entirelypets.com!
Grace (Boxer Dog) loves these, she get two a day and will not eat her regular dogs treat (Chicken nibblers) until she gets her PhyCox first? Really made a difference with her.
Phycox has, so far, been very good for my German Shepherd, who had bilateral elbow surgery at 1 year old. She is now 1 year and 9 months and plays like a puppy that never had anything wrong.
I was very happy with my purchase and this is not the first time that I have ordered them. I also like the service it came quite quickly. I would definitely order again and I would recomend you.
My dogs are quite active...hiking almost daily. My lab had both knees repaired. The PhyCox Soft Chews help both dogs with their mobility and strength. I can't imagine not using PhyCox to support healthy joints.
We've used Phycox for a year now and do believe this and regular walks has had a very positive impact on our 13 year old pup getting around (he finds them and the joint treats pretty hard to resist!)
My vet recommended Phycox for my Boxer Cross's partial cruciate tear. We've had excellent results, but it was $80 for 120 treats at the vet. I was so glad to find this deal for 360 treats (plus some "joint treats" whatever they are) for about $130. We received our shipment in a reasonable amount of time as well, and shipping was free! If deals like this continue, I will be back.
We have a 9 year old, 80 lb. lab mix who has bad hips. I judge her hip health by whether she can still jump up onto our bed. Some months ago she could no longer do it. My vet recommended I try the PhyCox. After a couple of months she was able to jump up onto the bed again. Last week at the dog park she sprinted (as fast as her 9 year old body could) for the first time in years. The reason I only give it 4 stars is because it is rather expensive, but if it keeps her relatively active it is worth it. (BTW - Entirely Pets has the cheapest PhyCox I have found.)
My vet prescribed Phycox for my two Boxers and it has been very effective in relieving knee, hip and back pain for my dogs.. leading a much better life now than before this product.. it works.
I have used Phycox Chews for my 13 year old dog who has hip and joint issues due to his breed and age. I saw an immediate improvement in my dog's ease of mobility after the first week of using this product. My dog seems to enjoy the taste and has no digestive problems due to the chews. I highly recommend this product...a bit pricey, but worth the comfort if affords my furry friend.
