What a piece of junk. I first bought this thing, as it sounded like it would be perfect for my needs. Once I activated it, it only worked intermittently. Apparently, the GPS antenna is so poorly placed that it will only receive signals when the satellites align just right with the orientation of the moon and the dog is facing exactly north with the proper frequency of tail wagging.
The online reporting system is also intermittent, when updates become posted they may or may not be accurate. Apparently my dog manages to travel hundreds of miles in seconds on occasion, there seems to be no correction with the location of the cell tower (I would think this would be simple enough, but then again..) When the website does finally update, hours of information may be missing.
Finally, I was asked to sign up for an annual service. I agreed, and after a few months I was not even checking the website anymore, but since I had prepaid for the year, I figured that I would just let it expire and be done with it. Oh No, in new modern fashion apparently an annual contract is now a lifetime contract of harassment! After the 3rd time of telling their customer service "person" that I was not renewing my contract, I was asked to pay for the additional month of service that I apparently received without the unit working. I grudgingly agreed to get them out of my hair, but explained to the mouth breather that under no circumstances did I want their services again. About a month later, the calls stared, first with the "Your monthly billing statement" and then with the "Special Offers."
No, there is a special place reserved for the people who do this kind of thing. However, if you want to avoid this, I would tell you to run, as fast as you possibly can, away from this silly piece of junk and the freaks who run this service and product.
