If this sheds "VERY LITTLE visible" light..
Date:November 11, 2012
..what, then, would "LOTS of visible" light mean: FLOOD-lighting?
For goodness' sake, does tell-it-like-it-REALLY-is advertising still exist...oi is it just self-serving hype and gross distortion?! "Infra"-red HAS TO mean, by definition, "below red," i.e., "below the visible spectrum," i.e., IN-visible light, NOT just a red-colored lamp.
The one I fell into BATHES my chickens in red light. Granted, it isn't quite as bright as a "white" light lamp would be, but it's plenty bright, so bright, in fact, that I wonder whether my birds CAN actually sleep in it.
I think "Entirely Pets" should stop using the rhetoric now applied to this product. Would I like compensation? Yes, but not in terms of mere $$$ returned -- leaving me with nothing lost, but also nothing gained. ' What I really want is a GENUINE INFRA-red lamp, folks - that's all.
