Having an older dog I want him to be as healthy as possible; I noticed this helps him and he loves the taste. I give him one at each meal; This is the ONLY brand I buy.

These tabs were recommended to me by my holistic Veterinarian when one of my shih tzus had bowel issues. She told me to start giving them on a daily basis to all of my dogs since their bodies need probiotics just like us. This product was recommended by my homeopathic vet when my 4 year old Mastiff started experiencing sporadic bouts of diarrhea and stomach upset. I give him the recommended dose at night before bed.....he is now back to normal and he absolutely loves the taste.....I think he would rather have one of these chewable tablets than a dog cookie. Very effective probiotic.

I ordered Bowel Defense Formula for our Springer Spaniel because he would wake up just about every morning and vomit -- it was just bile but still... I started giving him this product and immediately his tummy was better. Every once in a while he'll be sick but the frequency has greatly lessened.

I discovered this on-line and purchased. I'm thrilled that it works for our own dogs and many rescue dog's upset GI (loose stool & runs). My sanctuary dog has a sensitive GI and very soft stools. Now she has normal healthy stools. We rescue hundreds of dogs & pups (all ages) from death row from shelters. The dogs often get upset GI due to stress, food, water or treat changes. We will now keep this in stock for all our rescue dogs & pups! Great product. Easy to give the tablet to the dog in a scoop of can food or peanut butter. Thanks!

regurgitation was the problem

I bought this product thru my vet's office at twice the price but it was prescribed because my dog (11 yo female Weimaraner) has a problem where her stomach gets very upset and painful and when this happens she tends to regurgitate and will then aspirate these digestive juices into her lungs causing aspiration pneumonia. Its been three months now and she has not once had the problem. She has always gotten an enzyme/probiotic mixture in her food so I thought this wouldn't make much of a difference but the combination of ingredients in this formula seem to do the trick. And the best part is she likes them and takes them as if they are a treat which is not easy with my picky dog.

Abby is a 10 year APBT, who has always had loose stools plus tends to have upset tummy from Rimadryl. I started supplementing her diet with the pro-biotic bowel defence and her loose stools are a thing of the past. Unexpectedly her coat looks better, and her intestines don't make those loud gurgle noises like a water ballon about to explode. Plus her p o o p doesn't smell like roses, but it certainly doesn't smell as bad as before this supplement!
