Good & Good for Them
Date:February 27, 2016
We have two dogs. One is 11 and the other is 1. Both of them love these bones that they consider "treats!" We have found that Terrabones do help with keeping their teeth clean, no matter what flavor we use. Also, our 11 year old is quite nimble and active, some of which we attribute to the Jump'n Joints Terrabone Dental Chews.
These bones are made in the U.S. from good quality ingredients, predominantly brown rice and pea protein. They have no wheat, corn, soy or gluten.
They are hard bones so you need to watch that your dogs don't swallow large chunks. I have two very small dogs (5 and 7 lbs) for whom I chisel the bones into smaller pieces for them to chew as the whole bones are too large.
The pieces keep them occupied for between 15 - 30 minutes and are probably good for keeping plaque at bay (anecdotal evidence, not verified).
Neither my two Chihuahuas or (now deceased) Shelties have ever experienced any stomach or "processing" issues with Terrabones.
They are expensive, but great quality. I buy the large size bones since the bag weight is heavier than the bag of small bones yet the price per ounce is usually lower for the large bones. Once the bones are broken into pieces (using a hammer and screwdriver), each bone equals four treats, so the bag lasts a while.
Entirely Pets sale price (a 20% discount promotion) was by far less expensive than I found them anywhere else.

My small dog has poor teeth, but he will use what he has to work on a Terrabone. It will take him hours, and it is good exercise for him. He stands up and really attacks it. This is his favorite bone by far.
