these 'popped up' as a suggested product that could be used with the bark collar i was purchasing....completely WRONG kind of battery

I puchased this product from Canadian Tire store and can't even get batteries for it there. I have also found other stores that carry the units and they too are having problems acquireing the batteries. These batteries are supposed to last up to 12 mths and they are only lasting a couple of mths, no wonder you can't seem to keep up with supplying them. I am so sick of not being able to protect my pet properly, after spending the high cost for the unit I should at least be able to purchase the batteries when needed. Also why are they not available at the retailers that sell the systems that use them?
