Works great on our small dog's nails. Will have to use regular clipper for our large dog and use Pedipaws as a finishing product to help smooth the clipped nails. Definitely a good way to catch the rough edges.

Sand paper

It is a rotating drum of sand paper. My pet (puppy) tolerates it. With that said, yes it is better than the old way of using the manual nail cutters. Price should be under $10.

Trimming our dogs nails was dreaded by our dogs as well as by us. We got to the point of bringing the dogs to the vet for trimming. When we used the Pedipaws we couldn't believe the change! The dogs were as calm as the commercial shows in their ads. We're saving money on those vet trips now.

Perfect nail trimmer

I couldn't even get one paw finished the old fashioned way. With this tool there is no chance of splitting the nail or hurting your pet. My oldest took to it right away but my youngest took several trys. I think it was just getting used to the noise.
