Excellent product! It clears up my dogs itchy red skin after only 1 bath. It takes care of alergy doggie dandruf too! Only drawback is that you have to leave it on for 15 minutes. She gets tired of that and so do I.

My poor 9 yr old Shi-tzu has allergies that bother her skin. I hear it is quite common in the breed. She scratches & licks herself constantly when her skin flares up. Her hair actually feels sort of oily when you pet her. Shampooing her with this medicated shampoo is the only thing that gives her relief! After a bath (with a 15 minute wait to let the Benzoyl take effect), she doesn't itch, lick or scoot! Her hair feels wonderful to the touch as well.
Entirely Pets is where to get it as well. Costs half of what it does from the vet!

Good for troubled skin

This product was vet recommended when our dog had "puppy mange" and got bacterial and fungal infections as a result of scratching. During the height of the infection, we used this product every third day, then went to once a week for maintenance. The product is a little drying for your hands and may be also for the dog's skin, so for the winter we will try using it every other week.

Great shampoo

This shampoo is the best I have found for my dog's itchy and flaking skin. I bath her about every 10 days and the scratching and flaking have stopped. I also use the creme rinse made by the same company and it makes her coat nice and shiny.
