My dogs love these

Both my dogs think these are pretty darn good. They are pretty pricey, so they don't get them very often, though.
Apparently, a lot of people are bothered by the smell - I would say it seems a little more yeasty than some of the other treats. It takes my dogs 10-20 minutes to chew these up and the smell is gone when they are done, so it's not that big of a deal to me, but my dogs also tend to take their treats to a corner or outside, so that probably helps.

This item smells awful after being chewed on. I smelled a horrible odor and realized it was the dog chew. I had to trash it immediately.

Review 3 for Merrick Water Buffalo Flossies (6-8 in.)
My dog's rank order of Merrick: 1. Texas Taffy 2. Wizzler 3. Buffalo Flossy 4. Doggie Wishbone
He's a medium mutt, but he might have weird tastes (prefers basic milkbones to pupperoni, thinks lean treats, snausages and all science diet jerky treats are barely worth the chew time) . His top 4 are all a little stinky, which appeals to him greatly. He believes that dried tripe sticks, which I wish they carried on entirely pets, are the best treat ever invented. And those stink like no other.
He doesn't like the mootube. Or pig ears. And the turkey patties are all still untouched.

They are good, but the beef flossies are better because they do not smell nearly as much
