Review 1 for Litter Robot LRII Automatic Self-Cleaning Litter Box - BLACK
Date:March 26, 2009
We purchased this product because we are big fans of automatic litter boxes. We have had a few during our days with our cats, but this was a new found idea.
We started by putting it together....or should I say plugging it in. It comes assembled so all you do is put it where you want it and plug it in. We were excited to see how our cats reacted.....but were let down. They took to it with more ease then expected. Our dare devil was the most afraid but with some coaxing she broke it in first, then wouldn't leave it alone. Next our oldest cat tried it out and our littlest cat wanted to be there to show her how it was....so they both fit pretty good in there, a little crowed I should say, but one usually goes at a time, right. Next was our 3 legged cat....we were scared how this would work out and it was fine, the first try was a little rough only because she didn't want to step on the actual step, but has since mastered the approach. They are still cautious and enjoy watching its cleaning cycle but then are off on their daily cat duties.
We absolutely love it. The inside can be sprayed down easily for cleaning and it is actually quieter then we expected. Having 3 cats they produce a lot of waste having a basket as big as this one is we don't have to change it nearly as often as we did with a standard automatic litter box. For the price its a little high, but you will not find a waste basket that allows more time in between changes. Our old one had us doing it daily. So it is worth the price for what benefits you get from the product.
In regards to entirelypets.com, we are committed purchasers for life. We had several problems with trying to ship this item to our location. My husband is in the military and we have an APO address as our shipping address. Most don't know what APO addresses are and don't want the hassle of figuring out how to ship to them (its like a normal address, just delivered differently). We went to the manufacturer, ebay, and multiple websites and none would ship to us. Entirelypets.com was our last hope and they met our expectations we had it in a matter of 3 weeks after purchase. We would definitely recommend both the product and this awesome company to purchase it from.

Review 2 for Litter Robot LRII Automatic Self-Cleaning Litter Box - BLACK
THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

This is by far, the best product ever, and this is a great site to get it from.
I am owned by 7 cats, though it says for up to 4, this handles my 7 (well, 6) beautifully. As soon as I set it up, my youngest cat got into it right away, until her partner came in, who is a massive blue tabby, and started to check it out, leaving her stuck in the back. Even with the 2 in there, he was able to do his business without a problem. When he left, she did hers and then decided to use it for a bed LOL After convincing her to leave, she then noticed it made an interesting sound and their mess magically disappeared! Her and my other cat Vincent love to watch it scoop their mess away. Well, after 2 successful uses, all the cats, except 1 lined up to watch the show, one by one, they used it. My 2nd eldest cat (all cats under 2yrs) was the last to try this box after 2 days. My most skiddish one still only uses the old box, but he is getting more and more curious of this one.
The sound is best described as a blow drier, except maybe a bit quieter. With 7 cats it goes off about every half hour, though I am sure most of it is from them just peeking in to make sure their business is gone. It has indeed saved me on litter, I am very happy. If you don't over fill it, there is very little waist. I did have to adjust the sensor, but its not an issue since its so easy to do. I never have a problem with the bags staying in place. I buy the bags with the pull string on them and I just tuck the rim with the plastic string into the slots and it stays just fine. I buy 13gal bags for an easy fit, I hadn't tried 8gal yet since most of my garbage pails use 13gal. If you don't have a bucket to hold your litter in so you can easily scoop the litter into the box, then there can be a problem in getting the litter into the box, but other than that.. this thing is a back saver. Its so easy to change the bag, and I seem to do it only every other day with no odor.
I only wish that they would make the same product battery operated, smaller and made for ferrets LOL WHEW! That would help a lot with my home odor!!

Review 3 for Litter Robot LRII Automatic Self-Cleaning Litter Box - BLACK
Imagine no more scooping
Date:October 6, 2008
While I experienced a couple of start up problems such as adjusting the sensor, once it is properly adjusted it works great. I have one cat that is obsessed with the litter robot when it is in operation and continually likes to step on the step to watch - of course this stops the litter robot in its process. but then it continues up again - or one push of the button starts it up again. and imagine no more scooping. what a pleasure. just have to figure out how to keep the bags retained better. i would rate this product a 9.5 I will reevaluate in 6 months to see if another is warranted to replace my other regular box but it is probably a good idea to keep one around just in case of power outage, or other unforeseen event. this is the one to get - no more disposal boxes, litter trays, you buy the litter robot and just need to replace the filter once in a while. you can use your regular kitchen garbage bags so there is no added expense of buying something special for this. it's GREAT!!!!!!
