The bags are teenie tiny, and unless the litter box is small, you will need at least 4 bags of this stuff to get just an inch of sand.
My kitty did not have an issue or reject the litter box with this product.
The product is really good if you are new to, and nervous about, the clean catch process. However, once you figure it out, it's quite easy to hold a "dixie cup" under the cat's stream to get a catch.

Our cat Mojo was diagnosed as a diabetic and the vet told us we need to start taking urine samples on a regular basis to test glucose levels. Initially we tried something called No-sorb (plastic pellets). He hated the stuff and just would not go. Our vet recommended this new product called Kit4Cat (www.kit4cat.com). It worked great and was very easy to collect the sample. Definitely worth trying.
