The pads may have worked well, but not for me. They have a perfumed scent that immediately sent my allergies in a dizzy. I wanted to send them back as nothing in the description mentioned any such thing; however, since I had opened the package, that was denied. Next time I'm at our local Humane Society shelter, I'll see if they want them to give to adopters who aren't sensitive to perfumes.

Review 3 for Hartz Ultraguard Dog Pads (50 count)
Best Puppy Pads!
Date:June 19, 2014
I have a rescue Chihuahua who was born with rear leg deformities and had to have surgery as a puppy. Due to that I decided to train her to pads instead of the yard. She is now 3 years old and I have tried nearly every pad on the market, mostly discouraged that they were so thin and leaked. For a while the Out! brand worked well but then I got two packs in a row that leaked.
One day at WalMart I saw these Hartz Ultraguard and decided to give them a try. They were great! They are very absorbent and, while I can't say that they truly form a gel, they do not leak. Unfortunately, after three purchases, WalMart switched to the Hartz Home Protection which are MUCH thinner and LEAK! I can no longer find the Ultraguard at any local stores.
Thank goodness a Google search turned up entirelypets.com as having both the Home Protection AND Ultraguard in stock. I ordered 4 of the 50ct bags so I now have about a 6 month supply. When these run out I will be checking entirelypets.com to reorder!
