I very much enjoy the pumpkin as well as the tree and the purple house because they are fun for both dogs and cats. The mouth, for example, is good for feeling around for stuff inside and the toys are fun to chase and wrestle. Of the various configurations, the pumpkin is the least favorite. They are not interested in the treats, but I can't say much about the ghost since it has vanished. I think the pumpkin itself is very cute on a table and won't burn up from a candle or break. So, this toy is more mine, except for the ghost.
My dog was the official recipient of this house with resident Halloween characters. The directions suggested putting a treat in the house to entice the dog to pull out the little toys. Hah! My dog nosed around them to retrieve the treat. On the other hand, she loved the bat and cat when they were thrown down the hall. She retrieved them, shook them til they must have been very dizzy and then returned them to me to throw again. The cats, however, love mouseying their toys out of the house.
