Help for equine respiratory issues

Some might say pricey...but if it works...Duralactin Equine is priceless! My 15 year old gelding had worsening respiratory problems with no clear diagnosis. Over the last 5 years it had gone from seemingly-seasonal allergy type occasional cough to persistent pre-heaves condition. Had him scoped for blockage and scar tissue, implemented all preventive, dust-related environmental things, and eventually had him on AniMed AniHist (or HistAll) twice daily for 6 months. He was became very crabby and uncomfortable, and steroids were the final recommendation by vet. When AniHist was pulled from market, I went back to searching internet forums for ideas. Came across a post from someone claiming Duralactin had helped with equine respiratory, although it is marketed for joint help. But it seemed to me that chronic inflammation was at work on my horse as well and gave it a try. He has been on 2 scoops daily for the last 8 months and no longer coughs! He has lost the heave-y hard belly that was forming, gained vigor and is in good spirits. And no coughing. His "old-man smokers cough" disappeared. This is purely my experience with one particular horse. But if anyone is at the end of their rope and faced with giving steroids next, give this a try first. Fingers crossed, I will surely go crazy if Duralactin disappears from the market, so thought I would start posting my own anecdotal evidence around and maybe help some other horses - and make sure it stays available.

My 23 year old Thoroughbred has typical arthiritis for his age. This product has given him relief and improved his ability to move around his turnout with ease.

I use this product for all of my senior dogs and have seen great improvement in their mobility since we started giving it to them with their meals. I use the horse product for my dogs since I am feeding it to multiple dogs and it is more cost-effective this way.

a brilliant vet, Tom Bello, introduced this in his treatment of my EPM horse. The horse has made
virtually a complete recovery; when off Duralactin
Plus, he regresses. Now my show horses are all on Duralactin and winning!!!
