The game is simple it took my puppy about 10 min to figure the whole thing out my older dog it took her a little longer shes more use to push button toys. Simple as the game my be there is a lot of other things that you can do with the different parts to make it more fun and challenging like uses the round slide disk with a cup also stuck in the puzzle. I found that peanut butter or a carrot cut to the sized of the top of the cap and wedged in makes it more fun also because the have to try and get the treat from the cap two challenges with one cup. The game is a basic toy that has lots of potential if you want to get creative.

I've used this with 3 dogs, who all enjoyed it. I especially like that you can vary the puzzle, and that in two of the versions there are no removable parts. It is, however, too easy for them to solve to hold their interest for long. Definitely not a toy you can leave your dog alone with - must be supervised.

My Bischon really enjoys this game when I set it up. Sometimes he will remind me if we haven't played in a while. He learned the "tricks" to 2 of the 3 games rather quickly, but it took him a while to understand the third game where he has to remove the caps.
My Miniature Schauzer doesn't get it at all (but he's also 15 years old).
