This is the only product I know of that is liquid kaolin and pectin (the human formulation has changed). It does a wonderful job of soothing the GI tract and firming the stool. However, it is a band aid and not a cure for underlying conditions that may be causing the diarrhea. Have your pet checked for Giardia with an ELISA test and make sure your pet does not have any worms.

I was hoping to find a solution for my cats constant diarrhea, and after giving as directed (which wasn't easy because my cat HATED the taste), it didn't do a bit of good. In fact, I think it made his problem worse. Unfortunately, not the solution here.
