Worked for my horse!

I know not everyone will have the same experience, but the Cosequin ASU has made a difference in my older trail horse. He injured his shoulder and has had intermittent lameness; the Cosequin ASU has alleviated a lot of his symptoms. I also greatly appreciated the price break I received.

My 18 year old gelding foundered and we were getting him through that but he just wasn't coming back as fast as he should. I thought there might be another issue going on.
An easy keeper, his weight was up so I thought arthritis had to be an issue with his size, weight and age. I added this supplement to his food and he is now galloping all over the fields.

My horse is very picky about what goes in his food, but he loves this stuff! If only they made wormers and other meds like this!

As program Director for a therapeutic horseback riding program in Alaska, I find that Cosequin ASU is the best product of it's type on the market for keeping our older therapy horses fit, sound and comfortable. and enables them to have much more freedom of movement, even in the cold winter months.

This is a great product for the horse--he is 23 yrs old and I've had him on this for maintenance for the past 3 years, and you would think he's a 13 or so---the ordering was great also, no hassles, came quickly--

Amazing Worth every dollar!

I have NEVER given a product testimonial before. Sharing because I know firsthand the unbelievable results that changed my life. My first introduction to the Cosequin company was a recommendation by MY orthopedic surgeon to try the "people" formula of Cosequin DS for severe arthritis pain and limited range of motion. He wanted to postpone knee replacement as long as possible, but the daily pain and physical limitations left me with little quality of life. The "DS" did not help me much, but then the company came out with the ASU formula, and I gave it a try. Truly, within 2 weeks I felt improvement. I have been on it for 3 years now and I am soooo much better off! Several friends have also tried it with similar results.
Now to my senior horse. My buddy horse has 2 bad hocks, ring bone at one front hoof and a very calcified knee joint on the other front leg, and is blind in one eye from a old roping injury. I got him knowing this 5 years ago. He is the sweetest boy, but he struggled with obvious pain in varying degrees every day. I did what I could to mitigate his issues. I had him on glucosamine/condroiten and I would bute him at his worst, but it was his destiny to suffer with obvious arthritis and joint pain as he hobbled and moseyed out to the pasture every day. During a vet visit, to an equine specialist I inquired what brand he might recommend. He asked me if I knew about Cosaquin ASU. I had no idea there was an equine version! Spendy yes, but was worth the try if it might help him like it helped me. Within 2 weeks he was walking much better. My farrier was stunned at 5 weeks when she trimmed him because he was so much "softer" and his flexing ability was better than he had been in years. She couldn't believe the transformation. I have watched my "lame" senior horse become like a colt. He runs, rears, kicks and frolics with his pasture mates like he hasn't a care in the world. His quality of life is amazing. I followed directions to load him the first month, and he now does one scoop a day. No he is NOT cured. But he is enjoying the life of a horse now. It is worth the try to prove it to yourself! I agree that we have a responsibility to care for our horses. Good luck!

THIS IS A MIRACLE PRODUCT
By:Jennifer A

Breed: TN Walker
I have loved/owned horses for over 32 yrs. Unfortunately, I didn't start using Cosequin until about 6 yrs ago. I wish I would have bought it sooner. My equine vet recommended it but I thought I couldn't afford it. It's a bit pricey but PROVEN and well WORTH it both clinically and now personally for me through experience. I thought I couldn't afford it but knowing what I know now, I would have been able to afford it versus paying big equine vet bills. It gave my former 5-gaited ex-show American Saddlebred, Serengetty, who could barely walk, a new lease on life. After about 2 weeks(though they say 4 weeks) of the double dose,I saw a difference in him. He cantered out of his stall where before he walked/limped out, no exageration. He got progressively better and lived to be 29, which he had lived a hard show life. He was great until I found him down one morning in his stall, not sure but long story, euthanasia was my choice. He had been on just the plain Cosequin. I just recently lost my beloved mare, Chrissy (almost with me 30 yrs), and I have adopted a new rescued horse, Desi, that is only 7 yrs old, TN Walker mare, that is extremely lame with left high hock lifting, as a companion for my 21 yr old gelding. According to my equine vet who is also a certified equine chiropractor she said she probably has a tubercle sacrale fracture. She saw Desi 3 weeks into her initial treatment with Cosequin ASU. Again pricey, but Wow! Cosequin directions say to give double dose for up to 4 weeks but I have seen results in just 2 weeks (no, not cured but improvement). Desi went from an 8-9 to a 3-4 on a 10 scale. Desi has now been on Cosequin ASU for over 5 weeks and my farrier just came last week and he saw her before I took her and after. He said she has DRAMATICALLY improved. I'm only saying how wonderful this product is because it helped my horses feel better which is important to me. I have given MSM and Bute and honestly, I feel guilty that I didn't try this product sooner for the sake of my OTHER equine friends and their comfort. One of the only reasons that I took on the adoption/rescue of our lame, Desi, was that I knew an investment in the Cosequin product would more than likely help her be more comfortable. Lame horses can change and be more comfortable~no guarantees but if you are willing to bet and love horses. Cosequin is your product. It is mine for life!!! Horses like us don't live forever but we are adults and caregivers and should be held responsible for their care. EntirelyPets.com has the cheapest price on MY Cosequin ASU.

great results. Highly recommended by my vet after seeing the research studies. Palatable for fussy eaters = no waste in the bottom of the feed tub. Makes my 20 year old go like a 10 year old. Greatly increases the time between hock injections so for me it is very cost effective.
