I have given Cosequin to my 2 doxies for about 5 years. Doxies have very fragile backs and it has helped my 13 year old go up and down stairs for a long time

Good medicine

My little breeder/rescue Yorkie was in a cage most of her life. When I got her, her hind legs were very crippled. I started her on this product immediately and in time she seemed much better. You could argue that, that would have happened anyway because she went to a good home and was free from a cage. However my other Yorkie rescue (also lame) had problems tolerating cosequin. So she hasn't been on it.
Conclusion, she is much worse and my other who takes this, hops around happy all day.
I say, thumbs up!

Best gift ever!

I have a 7 yr old and 9 yr old pug. I 7 yr old pug was diagnosed with a luxating patella. My vet suggested this product and it might help the other dog with normal aging. Within a few days the pugs were acting like young pugs not that my pugs have ever been still. I can tell a difference when they do not get it. I forgot to order a bottle and it took a couple weeks to get it .I could tell a difference. I will NEVER forget that again. I cannot give a higher praise for this product.

better mobility for geriatric kitty

My 17 y.o. renal disease kitty has better mobility since being on Cosequin. He has been getting it 2x day, sometimes alternating with Dasuquin. I like the strength 'For Small Animals', and he accepts this better than the one 'For Cats' since this is unflavored. Has had severe arthritis in pelvic region for years, but this product gives better mobility, so he is eating better and eliminating better. Better health with those factors.

Excellent Product

Cosequin has worked wonderfully for my older cats and they move much more comfortably. It's also worked very well for my cats who are prone to urinary tract infections. It works so well that they have far fewer visits to the vet for treatment.

Have 4 poms that are very active with luxating patella's. This is a great product that keeps their joints going strong! It was recommended by my Holistic Vet after I switched from another joint supplement that had too many unnecessary ingredients in it.

Cosequin Rocks

After Mikey's knee surgery in Feb., 2002 the surgeon provided Cosequin and said my Maltese should use it for the rest of his life. That surprised me, but I have never stopped giving it. My dog is now 12yrs, 4 months and has never needed to have the other knee surgically repaired as originally thought and he still runs like a six year old. Meanwhile I have recommended Cosequin to a number of people who were having to carry their dogs up and down stairs at walk time. Within a week they all reported nearly complete recovery; within a month complete recovery. Cosequin is a really great product which lives up to its stated purpose.

I was disappointed in the fact Cosequin used to be offered with 180 capsules per bottle. Now they only offer 132 capsules per bottle at a very similar price.

This product was recommended by our Orthopedic Veterinary Surgeon after our dog had to have ACL surgery due to her injury. She had no difficulties prior so I can not say definitively whether this product has faciliated a speedy recovery along with some great physio from the rehab clinic. But I do know this is a product that has been scritinized by the science world and has research that stands behind it. I was very happy that entirely pets carries this product as I live in Canada and can only purchase this product through the veterinarian and it is costly here when doing so. It is great to be able to get this product at a good price since our dog will be on this forever.

I feel that the cosequin helps my little dog with her joints. However, I wish I could start buying the bigger bottle again. I noticed the last time I purchased it, it was the smaller bottle for the same amount as the big bottle that I used to purchase.
