I know onceour German Shepherd gets use to laying on the Cool Bed III she's going to love it. My 14-year-old nephew was trying to get her lay on it and decided to lay down on it himself. He wants a larger one to put on his bed.

My old girl is happy!

My dog is old (11 yo) and big (110 pounds). At the moment I made the cool mat ready for her, she adopted it.
No more panting and less stifness on her joints.
I put a light cloth on it to protect the mat against perforation and it still cools her. On less warmer days, I cover it with an old mat for extra protection and less cooling effect.
It's quite heavy when full of water ( 26 liters) but I don't have to move it.
Great products in my opinion.

Great for Hot Dogs

My 10.5 year old Rotty can't stand the heat. In the Summer, this bed provides the cushioning he needs for his joints (instead of lying on ceramic tile) and the cooling effect is great. As soon as we come in from a walk, he goes straight to his bed.
One problem....I am buying another Cool Bed III because this one has sprung a leak. There's a warranty period, and thankfully I'm still covered, but what a hassle! But...he needs it!
Overall, this bed has solved a lot of problems. I just wish these water-filled beds would actually be as durable as we're led to believe.
