Catit Cat Pan with rim

Finally found a litter box with sides high enough for my kitten not to scratch out litter. He gets very active covering up his mess and normally gets litter all over. Really like this pan.

Rim eats into the measurements provided. I had to take the litter box to a plastic store to cut the rim to make it worthwhile. Rim makes the cat litter box about 16 x12 and after cutting the rim to be flush with the box is now 20 x 14.5 on the inside of the cat box. 22 x 15.5 would be a perfect cat box.
Not sure why they don't make it in white, cream and pastel colors with a modern clean edge. The color and style should be improved, but the products in the market place are surprisingly limited.
When I bought no one could tell me which liners were made for the litter box. I found Johnny Cat Extra Large to work, but it must be put on perfectly because of the puckering in the corners.
Tip on keeping a perfect litter box: put arm and hammer cat powder on the base of the box and place paper towels on the bottom and then put in the liner. It keeps the plastic from smelling and the plastic liner from moving around and then put on the lid. Adjust the plastic so the puckering is on the ends and not on the sides. Adjust the plastic for a tight fit and put in kitty litter and sprinkle in arm and hammer powder. Making sure the plastic has a tight fit it key. When it is time to change the litter, the box will be clean and the paper towel and powder will still be fresh so you only have to rinse out the box with soapy water and dry and do again.
