Not enough of *something* to attract my Kitty-Kats

I liked the look of this over the doorknob hanger cat toy the minute i saw it online , i think it is festive and bright. Lots of interesting little things hanging off the the lures.
So why wouldn't my 3 relatively young, 2 to 3 year old kitties like this toy? Maybe there isn't enough catnip (or something equally as stinky to them) inside these tug an pull toys that hang off these lures to get their attention ! I am always looking for toys that will amuse my 3 rambunctious kitties and thought this would be a winner for sure. My youngest cat, Griffin is always eager to jump up to swipe his paw at the wall phone cord, but not this lovely colourful doorknob hanger. If i was a cat i am sure i would find this a delightful toy but alas.......... not one of my 3 kitties gave this toy much of a thought !!!
