My dog does not chew on anything, which has contributed to tooth problems his whole life. BUT he loves these Breathless/Brushless Chews and since I have been giving them to him, they have helped keep tartar from building up. Very happy with this product.
I have three dogs. The two older ones have a severe issue with their teeth and breath. I have already gone through one bag (two treats a day for each dog). Their breath and teeth have gone to intolerable to smelling pretty decent. My oldest dog, Sugar(10 years old), has horrible teeth and I can now have her close to my face with no problem at all.
I have gone through many dental treats and water additives and Ark Naturals treats are the way to go! In my opinion they work 10X better than Greenies.
I also use the Nylabone Advanced Oral Care Liquid Tartar remover and maybe that's what's helping do the trick.
I know there are a lot of fur-parents out there looking for answers to help our pups. Don't wait to order this product, you won't be disappointed!
I froze them so it would make the dog work a little bit more and he loved it. His breath has gotten a lot better than it was and he really likes them. Helps me out with is dental care since he's not cooperative with brushing.
This is the best product I've found for my Chihuahua's breath and teeth. It really cleans their teeth and the small bites are just right for them. They really like the flavor of these treats. I give them one after meals and one in the evening, 3 per day of the small bites.
Honestly, I only added these to my purchase so I could get the free shipping. I've bought several different dental treats and my Shiba Inu would eat one or two and after that, bury them in the couch or hide them outside. I didn't have high hopes for these because of their strong smell. He ate the first two and then started the same routine, carrying them around in his mouth and whimpering until I took it away. However, I found that if I cut these in thirds, he is fine. He takes each off to eat, then comes back for more and even gives me a look like "can I get more?" I noticed after the second day, his stool was dark green but his system seems to have adjusted and his stools are now fine.
