this was a great choice for our 10-yr-old caleb. he loves a toy w/ something to grab onto, but he also loves noise makers too. these are well-made toys and very inviting for him. i didn't think he'd ever love anything as much as his hedgehog, but he does love his polar bear, too. highly recommend, esp if your pup has a soft mouth but loves to chew.

I got the Booda Bellies Polar Bear for my two 7 month old rat terriers. They love the "growl" that the squeaker makes, and the toy has plenty of appendages to tug on, however it isn't very durable. Within a day they managed to chew open the seam on its back. I've stitched it up and that seems to be holding, but beware if your dog loves to rip things open.
