It works so much better than those old fashioned wooden rat traps. They are not able to get away with the bait and cleaning the trap is really easy as well.

Its just an awesome trap, no fear of crushing your thumbs when setting the trap, the "bait" is in a cup so as soon as they touch the "paddle" the rats are toast!!!!!

I have used these for 7 years in an open space area trapping rats, squirrels, etc. around my house and yard. Very effective and efficient. Somebody was thinking to invent this trap. The best part is that unlike a conventional wood trap this sets positive and doesnt go off while you are trying to set it, ruining your whole ^%$#$%^ day. Chunky peanut butter is sufficient bait. Easy to clean, reusable, etc. Can't recommend too highly.
