My mastiff loves it. He is attracted to the running water. The fountain works flawlessly. The only thing I had to do was place it on an old feeding stand so that my mastiff could access the water more easily. I highly recommend this if you have a large or giant breed. Its capacity is 2-3 days.

We have tried other brands of fountains but this is the best one so far.We have two large dogs and several cats and the other smaller dishes had to be filled several times a day and had problems with the pump pluging so they had to be cleaned daily. This dish is great because we only need to fill it once a day and clean twice a week (it is a little large so it is a little harder to clean) The other thing is they all love to drink from it so, they are all getting plenty of water and that is just better for the animals.

My english mastiff loved to drink out of my bathroom sink faucet (gross i know) so when I found this pet fountain I thought it would be perfect. He loves it!
Although I have found a few problems. 1) The motor on the bottom that pumps the water through the filter broke after a year. Just on the edge that screws in, it now leaks and is VERY difficult to take on and off to clean. 2) the filters aren't as easy to find within the last few months. 3) I think this would work a lot better for dogs that don't drool as much as mine. It gets clogged with slim and dog food, and must be thoroughly (with bleach) clean every 4-5 days or else it starts growing algae. YUCK! but all in all my dog loves it, its just a pain to clean. OH and P.S. Do NOT put the reservoir tank in the dish washer (it will melt (-: )
