These are life savers when it comes to picky dogs. I have a dog on 3 meds, he found them in cheese and meat treats I tried. A friend told me about these and they are wonderful! I suggest one pill per pocket. I tried to put more in one treat and he ended up 'discovering' them. One per pill is worth it to have him take his medicine happily :-)

Good Solution to Medication Administration

Any pill that fits inside works. I've fed capsules and tablets, even if the dog chews them a bit, the med just mixes with the treat and it all gets swallowed. They come coated with a bit of oil, it helps everything slide down. It's a good solution if your pet doesn't like to take meds, or if you don't want to wrap them in people food. My dog has a sensitive stomach too, but tolerates these treats well.

I have used pill pockets for years. They generally work well to get pills down a dog the easy way. A tad pricey but they work. My dog gets smart and doesn't want them once in a while and I dip them in peanut butter and that works

We have a puppy who has major health problems and takes many, many pills. I don't know what I would do without Pill Pockets. I hate having to force pills down his throat and this makes it so easy, just like giving him a treat. I recommend buying the large pockets and just pinching off the amount you need to cover the pill. This makes the Pill Pockets go farther. I buy them by the dozen which makes them a lot cheaper. This is the second dog we've used Pill Pockets with.

One of my dogs requires constant daily medication. With these handy little jewels, it has take the stress of of giving him his meds. Just take the pill, put it in the pocket and give to the dog. He thinks he is getting a treat. (hehehe). I wont tell if you wont.
