Greenies Make My Senior 'Girls' Want to Get Up

A Special Treat

I use the "teenie" greenies, even though my dogs are all over 50 pounds. They get them as a special treat. I keep them separate from their other food, and when I go to the closet to get them one, they know exactly what I am getting and are SO happy! I also take one or two when visiting certain friends who have dogs and they know I have them and greet me with MUCH enthusiasm. They smell so "green" and clean. Especially great in winter when there is no grass.

My Papillon absolutely loves Greenies. She dances and runs off to show her treat to others in the house. It's also reassuring that my veterinarian acknowledges the benefits of Greenies in helping to foster healthier teeth in dogs.

I bought these small greenies because I thought they would be the best size for my little Brussles Griffon. The size chart for the bones fit her but after arrival and her eating one I wasn't too happy. They are actually too small I think. She loves chew toys and I needed to find something that made her breath smell better and clean her teeth.
She can eat this bone in less than 10 mintues. Next time I will look for a denser bone and something a little bigger.

My little boy yorkie begs around the same time every night for his "greenie". He lets me know it is time for his snack, and takes my hand in his mouth to get me to come with him. He will just beg and play until he get his greenie!
