We've been using this product for years. It was first recommended by our cat's vet. We have tried similar products due to the lesser cost or their claims of providing superior results. Yet, we have never found a product to be superior regardless of the cost.

Frontline Plus is the product we continue to use on our cats and dog, and Entirely Pets (recommended by our family pet sitter) has been our go-to supplier for several years.

This did not work at all for my 2 indoor cats. Nor does Advantage. I have heard that the fleas can build up a tolerance to these meds....? Just like viruses do in people... Anyways, I won't waste my $$ on these products again.

The last couple of years it seems that Frontline Plus has not been as effective as previous years. I have always used this product faithfully every month as directed. The last two years I have seen signs of fleas and have had to use additional products with the Frontline Plus to control the spread of fleas on pets and around home. Not sure if the product is no longer working or if the flea problem has just been getting worse or immune to product. I spoke with veterinarian and I was told fleas have become immune and that they will be phasing out the product. They will now be selling a new product called Activyl that works much better and is less toxic to animals and works differently by spreading over pets hair follicles and not into skin to kill all life stages of fleas. And it is also less expensive, but can only purchase through a veterinarian. I JUST PURCHASED 6 MONTHS OF FRONTLINE PLUS FOR BOTH A CAT AND DOG BEFORE FINDING THIS INFORMATION OUT!! Hoping that the Frontline Plus works out or I will try getting a refund for product not used and try the new Activyl product. Wish me luck and best of luck to everyone else, as flea season has begun!!
